I was not expecting to like these. Size up to the next size. When you do you will have a comfortable waist and it will still be fitted on the booty. Purchased because I wanted pants that do not drag in the snow and pair perfectly with Uggs. Love the grey it gives off a more "real" Jean look. I won'...t be showing the waistband nobody needs to know. Buy the wool blend sweater cardigan and you will have a look that is comfy and take you right through the winter.
I have three pairs of these, and I do love them, but I had to size up twice (from 8 to 12, seriously) to get them to fit the way they look on the model. I also am not tall but bought tall sizes (sorry, tall folks) to get a nice stovepipe look that landed at the top of my foot. I have to wiggle to ge...t into them (the stitching prevents proper stretch at the waist) but they fit very comfortably when they're on. Annoying, but nice pull-on jeans are important to me and hard to come by.

I am 5'5" tall. Weigh 183. Purchased a size 16 which it very well but I could have went down a size as well I feel as the 16 was a bit loose feeling. This is a new style for me so I wore it with block heeled boots and a sweater. Was comfortable all day.

I ordered these in dark grey and they are flattering and super comfortable. Word of warning - the waist on these makes it hard to get them over the hips if you are pear shaped. Once they're on, they are great with no waist gap. If you run between sizes, definitely recommend going up in these.
