I love the fit of these. This is the first pair of non-skinny jeans I've bought since I was a kid. I thought they wouldn't flatter my shape (which is curvy with a small frame), but they actually really do I think! The sizing is strange because I'm normally a size ~4 in ON jeans (skinny jeans like R...ockstar), but I needed a 10 in these. I could have probably gone with an 8 but I wanted them extra comfy. I'd still suggest sizing up from your skinny jeans size - there's less stretch than usual. The fit is nice for me because I have big hips, thighs and butt with a somewhat smaller waist ratio. They fit looser in the thighs but hug the waist, while still being comfortable on the tummy, so it works for me. I thought that the pair I bought might have been a returned pair because the rips seemed extra ripped (you know when you accidentally step in the hole instead of the pant leg?), but now that I look at the picture again it seems like it was on purpose. They do stretch out in the waist after wearing, like all ON jeans (in my experience), but shrink back down after drying.
I absolutely love the colour of these jeans, and I don't mind the button up fly either, but the sizing is very off. I purchased a 16 and a 18 online as I wasn't sure which size would fit. Usually I am a 16 at Old Navy, but I know sometimes with different styles things can differ. But boy oh boy, the... 16 was too small and the 18 was too big. I was shocked at the size difference and it makes me wonder if it's the same between other sizes?! When I went to return the jeans, the cashier said that there is a huge size difference between the sizes and to not feel bad because it's like with all those 16s and 18s. So if you get them just be warned you might have to go up a size, but it also might be too big!?

I really like how they fit I have another pair but in a light wash I did notice the black pair is a little bit more high waisted than the one I got in the light wash in store but other than that it's great.
