To get the look being worn as shown I had to size up 1 size, and proper culottes hit just below the knee so I got them in petite. Both dark and medium washes look great on and am excited to wear them with sneakers, ballet flats, clogs and sandals. So versatile!
Oddly enough the US call them culottes ' Mid-Rise Baggy Wide-Leg Culotte Jeans' and we have French as a second language. And they got all 3 washes. These are really cute jean culottes for spring and summer. I love the dark wash because it's easier to dress them up that way. I feel that these are TTS and they fit my hourglass figure well. No gaping in the waist, yet plenty of room for my hips and thighs. The dark color and wide legs are complementary for curvy figures, too. I highly recommend these denim culottes!

Super cute. Very roomy. Ordered a sz 6 and 4 returned the 6 as they were super big (fits like a 8/10) had to take the sz 4 in to the tailor to have the back taken in. I love how they look just wish they were true to size. I'm a true size 6 and I've never worn a 4 in my life
