my son hates jeans, chinos etc. Anything with a proper waistband. He's 11 now ... so time to get pants besides sweatpants so we tried these. He won't take them off and i'm ordering more. Perfect amount of stretch and according to him, so comfortable. Fits to size (ie he's slim and above average heig...ht, 11 years old, bought a size 12)
My son currently wears an 8 slim in jeans from Gap or an 8 regular in brands that run slim like Catimini from France. These aren't available in slim, but I thought I'd try the 8 regular. They look okay at the hips showing a bit of room in the seat (my son has slim hips and no rear end!) but the legs... are straight, as in the photo and a bit too wide for a slim kid. These seem to be a standard size 8 regular and the legs are straight, not skinny. I've had Gap jeans in slim look much more appealing on him, so these are going back. I do love that the wash is more variegated in colour than a lot of ON jeans have been in the past. It makes the jean look more expensive.
