Inspired by all the great reviews and a price promotion I bought these pants in size L/Black. The good: they are indeed comfortable and relatively flattering. The cotton-rich material is thick and the waistband serves to suck the tummy area in a bit. The pockets are well designed to be both useful a...nd flattering - well done, ON. The not-as-good: I thought from all the photos that these were very wide-leg, cropped pants but they are full-length and not as wide as I had hoped. I think they would be more flattering if they hit above the ankle. As well, the seams are quite prominent and make the pants look cheaper in my view. Finally, these are not a true high-waisted pant. I'm 5'5" and they fit more like a mid-rise on me. I may try them in Tall but then they will be far too long and getting them hemmed is an additional expense that I'm not sure is worth it. Nevertheless, these are a very good pair of pants for the price.
I bought a two pairs (black and soft copper) in XL tall. I'm between an XL and XXL with curves, so with the pants fitting great in the hips and thighs for that perfect wide leg drape without it looking frumpy, I had to take in the waist by 4 inches, which was particularly challenging as the back f...aux pockets sit so close together already that if I'd done it all through that back seam as would be easiest and look best, it would have turned those plackets into a unibrow. I'm 5'11, and the tall size is enough of a leap from regular that they are great if I'm wearing heels, but in flats I'll need to take an inch off. I have to take extra score off though as the order came in two separate parcels a full week apart with the second one n soft copper arriving completely damaged with giant grease stains tracked across it. Sad, cuz that was the color I was most looking forward to. The pro column includes nice fabric weight, good cut of the legs, and better quality waist elastic to keep shape better.
