I didn't notice that there were buttons rather than a zipper but even ordering my regular size (16, petite) they were still very moveable and comfortable! They did not dig into my stomach. My small problem is that I am 5'0 and the petite was still a little long, but it's okay, I'll just cuff them at the bottom! 🥰 I recommend buying these!
