After only buying stretchy denim for the past many years, I finally decided to try a rigid/non-stretch pair. What a difference! They flow so nicely over my apron belly without being too tight or too loose. They hold everything in, but are still super comfortable and the non-stretch denim does give... a little as you were them. I found the regular length was a bit short on my 5'7" frame so I got the long. I may need to hem them an inch, but overall I'm very happy with these and bought them in black as well (haven't tried those yet). The back waist is a little loose, but nothing a belt can't fix, and the rest of the jeans fir perfectly.
I tried these on in store and loved the shape of them, but they were a size too big. I waited months for the smaller size to come back in stock and when I finally got them, I was disappointed by the fit. I still think they have a great shape, but they just aren't made to accommodate curves. They wer...e tight across my hips, but loose around my waist. I would love to see a 'Curvy' fit for these jeans

oldnavy.gap.comI'm new to weight gain, as I tackle a health issue. It has been distressing to see my body change drastically but these jeans helped cover up my small apron belly. I am only 5'2" and the short inseam at size 14 works very well for me. The waist is a bit large for me because my weight is very localized to the lower abdomen and I am a bit disproportionate- but slightly big is better than slightly small! i find these jeans to be comfortable on my pain when I normally can only tolerate sweatpants. Highly recommend for sensitive bodies or those with chronic illness.
