I'm 5'1, 130lbs about 2.5 months postpartum, so need pants that will fit me better. I got size 4 petite and they fit perfect. My actual waist measurement is 30.5" so the size guide is not very accurate. I saw it ran large so I banked on the size 4 anyways and I'm glad I did because they fit perfectl...y around my waist and the length hit just above my ankles. I have a short torso so this may be longer on you if you're 5'1 and have a longer torso. But anyways, very happy with this purchase.
I had ordered the medium wash in a 12 about a year ago and absolutely love these jeans. The wash and look was amazing and they quickly became my favorite jeans to wear. I just recently ordered the same wash of these barrel jeans (same product photos) in a size up and am super disappointed to have re...ceived what was supposed to be the same jeans yet they look and feel nothing like the size 12s. They have weird lines running down the jeans and the fabric is not nearly as soft. I'm wondering if I got an unlucky pair or if this is what they are now. Very bummed about not being able to reorder my favorite jeans.

The key to making this style work is the shoes - they look super cute with a kitten heel sandal! The denim weight is perfect. They stretch just a little bit after wearing all day. I bought the dark wash and the medium wash. They're already my favorite jeans!

Nicely fitting barrel jeans, but they run a both large AND short. I recommend sizing down and sticking with a longer length. I'm typically a 6/8/M in most bottoms, and at 5'3" I always go for petite length at old navy. So initially I bought a 6P. They were definitely too large, hanging at my hips instead of higher on the waist, and baggy in the leg. The petite length was also surprisingly too short, multiple inches above my ankle like capris! This time I downsized to the 4 and got the regular length, and they fit much better. They're a tiny bit snug to start but they do stretch out slightly while wearing. The regular length hits me perfectly just above the ankle. The medium wash looks just like the photos. Overall they're nice thick jeans in a trendy and flattering barrel shape; I would just size down in size and consider a longer length than usual. #sweepstakes
