I bought this suit in the blue checkered as well as the black. I finally do fit a little bit snug so I did go up to the size extra large for a reference I weigh about 185 And I'm only about 5'3" tall. I think it hides all the places that I want to hide and I don't necessarily feel uncomfortable in ...the least. I do find the breast lift is enough for me and I'm not concerned with the heavy duty supporting of my breast because I'm not doing a marathon swim. I'm just at the beach or on vacation. For me, this is exactly what I've been looking for.
I'm 5'10" first of all, so I feel my review may be different if this existed in tall sizing. It's a cute concept and I felt very comfortable in this as my bum and mum tum were covered, but it didn't fit properly - particularly in the bust. I wear 38 DD and the design of this bust is a total miss. It... has a very light support lining, but it's attached to the lining of the bodice so if you try to pull up your bust, it pulls up everything. Secondly, it has tiny little, unflattering sewed in cups that are both visible and do absolutely nothing for your breasts. Your nipples stick out clear as day too. Part of me thinks I might have been OK getting a large instead of the xl, but I know it would have been too short lengthwise. My biggest complaint is the terrible bust; it just is not flattering.

After some health issues and gaining a few extra pounds this year, I was feeling self-conscious about a new bathing suit. Much to my surprise this suit was super flattering! I'm somewhere between a 12-14 and this bathing suit was true to size. I got a large. Modest but still fun. I am very pleased.

It does not! It's very cute and fits really well. For reference I am around 200lbs and carry most of my weight in my legs and the XL is perfect on me. I will say I have a short torso and this fits me really well, it might be a little snug if you have a long torso.
