To get the look being worn as shown I had to size up 1 size, and proper culottes hit just below the knee so I got them in petite. Both dark and medium washes look great on and am excited to wear them with sneakers, ballet flats, clogs and sandals. So versatile!
Oddly enough the US call them culottes ' Mid-Rise Baggy Wide-Leg Culotte Jeans' and we have French as a second language. And they got all 3 washes. Luckily I secured a pair but would have purchased the medium wash as well. I will report back with a review once my order arrives. And they better fit b...ecause sizes are gone.

oldnavy.gap.comThese run extremely loose all over. I am 195 lbs, 5'5" tall and ordered both a 14R and 14T. The regular length hit mid calf while the tall hit near to the ankles. I would size down. the 3 color choices were great, I prefer the darker denim.

oldnavy.gap.comThis most definitely runs on the looser, baggier side. I am, 195 lbs. 5'5" tall and purchased a Sz 14T and 14R and the regular length was still a bit longer than I'd prefer. Tha Tall length hit at the ankles like a high water jeans, not my preference. They are very loose in the leg, which I love but the waist was too big so I need to reorder and size down to a 12R. My waist is about 33.5".
