Typically a large in bottoms but had to return these and order a medium, I got 3 different colours and the sizing was consistent with them all. The matching top (beach tunic) runs very large I'm typically m/l and I got this in a medium and I could have got a small. 160lbs 5'6"
If you are slim with not much for curves these aren't very flattering. I usually wear a small and sized down to XS and these were still so baggy and not flattering. Looking at the photos again here I should have guessed that but thought sizing down would do the trick! Unfortunately just lots of fabr...ic and not the best. But if you want loose comfy shorts they're great! Just too bad I don't have matching shorts for the sweater now.

They match old navy t shirts and sweatshirts so very cute combos.they get very worn-in quick and stretch out a bit after just a few washes.this said I bought a 4 th pair so I'm in love ! I have blue, grey, black with green stripes and hot pink with white stripes and 2?matching oversized sweatshirts and an oversized t shirt .

I'm 5'1" and usually wear a size 14/16 in pants. I liked that these shorts aren't so high waisted they come up to my breasts like some do. They fit comfortably just above my belly button with the crotch where it should be. The inseam is a good length to prevent thigh chaffing. Overall, a cute and comfortable short. They do run a little large, imo. I am between a large and XL and these are roomy in size large for me.
