My kid is tall for his age so we always expect shorts to fit shorter on him but these are VERY short. If your child is short for their age, they will be fine. If your child is average height, they will be a short fit style, and if your child is tall like mine - do not buy!

Love your kids' shorts. One thing I was disappointed with was Old Navy no longer carries the petite jeans, you have to order them online. For many years I have been buying all my jeans at Old Navy for that reason. It is hard to find a place that carries the petite size jeans.
