I measured the inseam and it is just a little over 26" so shorter than described. The material in black is 100% viscose, not polyester. The waist is supposed to fit 25"-26" but was a bit too snug for my 26" waist so I would size up, especially after reading the review that said these shrink in size... after washing. Thankfully Old Navy has a generous exchange and return policy. I really want these pants to work out!
These pants are a nice, lightweight option to wear casually or dress up. I've washed them once on a cold delicate cycle and hung them to dry. Even when following the washing instructions, they have shrunk significant. The petite length is now too short for my 5'1" daughter and these don't work as a ...cropped pant. Sad because they've never even been worn and we will have to buy a replacement.

oldnavy.gap.comThese are so cute and comfy. I think they're a bit better than the linen pants honestly. Now the models they say are 5'9 in a small and they're full length on them. I'm 5'8 and ordered a M and mine still hit an inch higher than shown in pic id say. I like the fit this way because I'll be wearing them during spring / summer with sandals or heels and where they hit does look intentional not like they're too short but if you're looking for a fit like shown on the pics length wise and you're my height or taller I'd look into a tall option. I do not dry these I wash on cold and air dry as I do any of my old navy clothes aside from jeans due to shrinkage. I'm unsure if these would shrink but I'm not taking the chance. They dry quickly when hung up due to the material so I'd try to stick with that if you have the patience. I paired w matching button up and a double layer tank and got many compliments!
