I measured the inseam and it is just a little over 26" so shorter than described. The material in black is 100% viscose, not polyester. The waist is supposed to fit 25"-26" but was a bit too snug for my 26" waist so I would size up, especially after reading the review that said these shrink in size... after washing. Thankfully Old Navy has a generous exchange and return policy. I really want these pants to work out!
These pants are a nice, lightweight option to wear casually or dress up. I've washed them once on a cold delicate cycle and hung them to dry. Even when following the washing instructions, they have shrunk significant. The petite length is now too short for my 5'1" daughter and these don't work as a ...cropped pant. Sad because they've never even been worn and we will have to buy a replacement.

I am 5'2" 165, I ordered the L petite and the length is perfect. I feel I am in between sizes as these fit just a bit big int he waist (have a pear shape), but I feel a Medium would have been to small in the hips. Fabric is light and soft. I can see myself wearing these all summer.

I have these pants in a few colors and I wear them to work and out in the summer months (in the heat). I love the pull on elastic waistband. They are a soft, cool, fabric. I always receive compliments when I wear them!
