GOOD Material - real denim so good structure and stretch a bit in the waist throughout the day - just enough to be comfier and you can eat a burger Cut/shape - as a millennial trying to navigate away from skinnies but also feel too old going back to flares. this silhouette feels like a good comprom...
Versus
Genuinely confused as to why people rave about these. I wanted to love them but the crotch is so uncomfortable. I normally wear AE jeans which I find super comfortable but this fit is not it

Since I am a very short person, I was worried the loose jeans look would make me look shorter and boxier, but surprisingly they don't! My husband said he liked the way they looked on me and even appreciated the "hippy chick" look with the embroidery.

Purchased the colour 'Nina' in 6 petite. There's some stretch to it and has a slouchy feel that's not too baggy. No waist-gaping either. It is on the thinner side as jeans go but very comfortable and held up well in the wash. After the first wash though, the hem fraying becomes more prominent…nothing some scissors and light sewing cannot fix. Quality is good for the price.

oldnavy.gap.comI love these jeans! The curvy fit prevents the annoying waist gap, and they have a perfect straight leg that isn't too tight. I'm 5'11" and the tall length is perfect for me. Old Navy pants are sometimes hit or miss on sizing, but I got my usual size 8, and they fit great! I can't recommend these enough!
