So the overall fit on these is lovely - just baggy enough, comfortable, would be great for warmer days. And the chocolate brown colour is fantastic! I'll also say that if you are in between sizes, you can probably size down. However, the reviews are all over the place re: length. Some say the pants... are comically short, even on a 5'5" person, so order the tall. Others, like myself, ordered the tall having read those reviews, only to find that they were MUCH too long. I'm 5'6" and they were at least 2 inches too long. My hunch is that some of the reviews are for a very similar item (the ankle length version of this pant, which you can find elsewhere on the website as of right now) and some are for this regular version. Or, some folks may have been sent the ankle version when they ordered the regular. In any case, if you are ordering this regular version (29 1/2" regular inseam listed) then you don't need to order the tall unless you usually order tall! I've returned these but will buy in the regular length :-)
I wanted to love these pants, I don't like wearing shorts so a lightweight pair of pants for the summer seemed like a great idea and I've been on the hunt for a pair of black gingham pants, great! But once I received this pants I knew they wouldn't work. They are so short. I know they're meant to be... ankle pants but they barely come to mid calf. I thought about letting out the hem to make them a little longer and adding some lace but they're just so itchy. I know linen softens as you wear and wash but I couldn't have these on my body for more than a minute and I worry that even after washing they'd still be uncomfortable. They're a great price but just not worth it unless you have very short legs and are not sensitive to the way textiles feel.

I washed and fully dried them. They fit perfectly now. A little roomy in the butt and hips, but not too bad. I wouldn't want the waist any smaller. They are super soft, I could sleep in them. They don't wrinkle too badly. The nature of linen is that's is a wrinkly, laid back look anyways. The length is absolutely perfect on my 5'3" frame. They touch the tops of my feet and don't touch the floor at my heels. I wear these all the time to just hang out at home, run errands, go to church. I wore them on Easter Sunday to church! They are so versatile, wear to the beach, bum around home, date night, church! I may buy a couple more colors, can't beat the price, comfort, and versatility. I have the green right now. Oh, huge pockets in the front too. I normally wear a size 6, especially when things are high waisted. Sometimes a size 4. I'm 5'3", 118 lbs, closer to a rectangle figure than an hourglass. I typically wear a medium in pants for my waist, but everything below the waist is size small. Hope this helps others of similar sizing. (so I found these run a bit big and I sized down after trying on both sizes in store)

Love these, the stripes are such a cute touch! They do run a little big, in a wide leg pant I usually need an XL from most places but the XL was actually big on me. I could easily do a large.
