I saw the low review, but I still just recently bought this. It is SO flattering. The material is caught in and a little thicker. But for me that just sucks me in better and makes the dress so much more flattering.
The cut and style of this dress is so cute but the material is the heaviest, thickest cotton. I would have much preferred a more athletic feeling cotton blend that would be more breathable. I loved the look of the dress but not the material. Another downside is the shorts are fully attached to the d...ress (versus detached in the back) so when you need to use the restroom, you are taking off the entire dress. More brands have started using the partially detached shorts for this reason. Would not recommend unless you plan to wear for short periods of time and not in the heat.

I like it. It may be more of a "me" problem than a dress problem, but I'd love for the shorts to be about an inch or two longer (I'm 5'4). It's cute though.

The dress is made of a really thick/heavy material so it feels like it would be way too warm to wear during the hotter months. I was hoping for something I could just throw on when it's hot out but still look cute, which this definitely is not. It's OK but I do think it looked nicer in the photos.

The skirt on this is really ill fitting and not flattering. The material is really thick and sturdy which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but doesn't really work for Summer.

oldnavy.gap.comI bought my normal ON size for athletic dresses, small tall. This fit as expected, but was just too thick and heavy of material. The blue color is nice but I honestly hated the slit feature. This would be a good fall dress but was unfortunately returned as it didnt fit what I wanted.
