I'm 5"5 with a long torso and usually a size large. I went with my usual size in the black polka dots and this dress surprisingly looks great! It hugs all the right places and gives your body a flattering shape. It's also the perfect length. Love it!
Unfortunately I think this will be a return for me. I bought the black dots on white and while I love the print and shape/fit of the dress as a whole, the cap sleeves are a dealbreaker for me. Perhaps it's nitpicky, but the elastic that wraps on your arm is really loose, and the armscye is enormous ...which leads to the sleeve gapping in the back especially. There is a LOT of armpit with this dress when you raise your arms (I will spare you the visual of an actual photo LOL). I would have preferred either a true puff sleeve that wraps around your whole arm, a true cap sleeve, or just a straight strap that goes over your shoulder. This sleeve is a weird mix of all three that leads to a weird fit that gaps in weird places. As an aside, this is definitely a creamy yellowy off-white as opposed to a bright white like I had expected based on the model photos.

Love this dress. I went back and forth about which size to get based on the reviews…I am usually a small at Old Navy, though I have a few dresses that are xs. I ended up going with the small and I am so happy I did. It fits beautifully. I don't have a large chest (34 B) and am 5'5 and weigh around 137lbs. The arms are very flattering, as I worried they might highlight awkward areas, but they don't. Happy with my purchase!

Love this dress! I bought one and went back for 2 more in different colors. It is truly a fit-and- flare dress meaning it is figure-hugging down to the small of the waist and falls beautifully from there down hiding any imperfections (as if we have any :). It is bound to fit any figure nicely. The fabric is soft and flowy rather than some stiff material. I'm 5'2, 169lb and large fit very well. The stretchy part of the back really is a nice detail that helps adjust the fit fo any figure.

I have broad shoulders, so sometime dresses with limiting sleeves don't work for me, but this design works well even with broad shoulders. It is also flattering on someone with a larger stomach. It's tight in all the right places.
