I'm 5"5 with a long torso and usually a size large. I went with my usual size in the black polka dots and this dress surprisingly looks great! It hugs all the right places and gives your body a flattering shape. It's also the perfect length. Love it!
Unfortunately I think this will be a return for me. I bought the black dots on white and while I love the print and shape/fit of the dress as a whole, the cap sleeves are a dealbreaker for me. Perhaps it's nitpicky, but the elastic that wraps on your arm is really loose, and the armscye is enormous ...which leads to the sleeve gapping in the back especially. There is a LOT of armpit with this dress when you raise your arms (I will spare you the visual of an actual photo LOL). I would have preferred either a true puff sleeve that wraps around your whole arm, a true cap sleeve, or just a straight strap that goes over your shoulder. This sleeve is a weird mix of all three that leads to a weird fit that gaps in weird places. As an aside, this is definitely a creamy yellowy off-white as opposed to a bright white like I had expected based on the model photos.

This is an adorable dress. I ordered online a small tall. And unfortunately, it was too tight at the bus area. So I returned it to the store which they gladly did an exchange for a medium tall. They had it shipped to my home. And it fits perfectly. It did need some some ironing but after that, it looks adorable. I am so excited. The material is thick enough that you don't need to wear a slip under it and the fit is very nice especially because I'm tall and I was able to order a tall. It fits great. This is the rare kind of dress that is appropriate for both dinner date night and church gatherings. I love this dress! Most times, I order dresses like this from Shein. Unlike this one, the quality of the clothing ends up looking and feeling terrible. The price is cheap, and so is the craftsmanship. Additionally, Shein makes it nearly impossible to return the clothing. However, this dress has a beautiful feel to it. It is very well made and has a durability that I know will last longer than a year. This dress also has a very lovely fit, hugging the waist appropriately while also leaving flow at the base and hemline. It is perfect for the upcoming spring.
